Christopher R. Sebald

CHRISTOPHER R. SEBALD is Senior Vice President and Lead Portfolio
Manager, Total Return Fixed Income, at Advantus Capital Management. With
over 14 years of investment industry experience, he leads Advantus’
Fixed Income Total Return team and also co-manages the mortgage
securities portfolio. His background includes all aspects of investment
strategy and management.. In addition to positions with other major
investment management firms, Mr. Sebald previously worked with Advantus
Capital Management from 1992 through 1997 as a Senior Investment
Officer, advising total return and insurance accounts. At that time, he
focused on public and private mortgage securities, asset-based
securities and other structured investments. He is a CFA charterholder
and a member of the Twin Cities Society of Securities Analysts. He
received a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of
Science degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
