Charles A. Rice

CHARLES A. RICE is President and CEO of Dey, L.P. Mr. Rice began his
career in the pharmaceutical industry 26 years ago with the McGaw
Laboratories Division of American Hospital Supply Corporation. He
traveled extensively throughout the McGaw system, including Georgia,
southern California, the Chicago area, and Puerto Rico. During this time
he gained a wealth of experience through various positions in Quality
Assurance and Quality Control, while also refining his talent for
business planning and management. Joining Dey in 1987, Mr. Rice was
instrumental in leading the company from less than $10 million in
revenues to over $200 million in 1997, while successfully managing this
tremendous growth.
