CHAD DEAKINS is a Vice President of Trusco Capital Management, Inc. He
has served as a portfolio manager at the firm since February 1999 and as
a portfolio assistant since 1996. Mr. Deakins currently manages the STI
Classic International Equity Index Fund and the STI Classic
International Equity Fund. He has managed an S&P/Barra Value Index
portfolio for a client since April 2000. Mr. Deakins has over nine years
of investment experience. Prior to joining Trusco, he worked in the
Trust and Investments group at SunTrust Banks. He has also worked
overseas. Mr. Deakins earned a BS degree in Finance from Florida State
University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
