Cathy Spencer

CATHY SPENCER is a Research Director in Gartner Research, where she
focuses on e-business management strategies. Ms. Spencer has more than
15 years of experience in the business-to-business electronic commerce
industry. Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Spencer was Director of Services
Marketing at Commerce One, formerly AppNet, where she focused on
integration of the capabilities of the two companies. Ms. Spencer also
worked 11 years at GE Global Exchange Services (formerly GE Information
Services) in a variety of marketing roles. Ms. Spencer holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/English/Political Science from Marshall
University, Huntington, West Virginia. She has done graduate work at
West Virginia University and Western Maryland College.
