Carl W. Palmer

CARL W. PALMER, President and CEO of Seychelle Environmental
Technologies, Inc., has been involved in the water filtration industry
for over three decades. He has earned international acclaim and
recognition as one of the world’s leading pioneers in the field of water
filtration innovations and technology. He established four separate
companies prior to Seychelle Environmental Technologies that were
acquired by major Fortune 500 publicly held corporations. In the early
1970s, he and his company, Aq-RO-Matic, Inc. developed the first
successful counter top application of Reverse Osmosis (RO) for
residential and office use. The company was sold to Coca-Cola Bottling
Company in 1973. Upon expiration of a five-year, non-compete agreement,
Mr. Palmer simultaneously founded PurWater International and
International Membrane Laboratories. In 1988, Mr. Palmer designed and
developed the Best Water RO unit for the billion-dollar Shaklee
Corporation. In addition to directing the manufacturing, he served as
Vice President of Best Water Sales and Marketing for Shaklee. At the end
of 1989, Shaklee, U.S. Inc. acquired U.S. ThermoElectric Corporation, of
which Mr. Palmer was President, CEO and principal stockholder. He was
the Founder and serves as President and CEO of Seychelle Environmental
Technologies, Inc. in San Juan Capistrano, California. The company
became public in February 1998.
