BRYCE ROWE follows community and super-community banks as part of Legg
Mason’s Financial Services research team. Prior to joining Legg Mason,
Mr. Rowe worked in McDonald Investments’ research department in a
similar capacity and was based in Atlanta with Trident Securities, which
is a division of McDonald Investments that specializes in providing
professional services to smaller banks and thrifts. Prior to McDonald
Investments, Mr. Rowe helped form a community bank-focused division
within Anderson & Strudwick of Richmond, Virginia. At A&S, Mr. Rowe
provided research coverage on community banks and thrifts, many of which
were headquartered in the mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Rowe graduated from
the University of Virginia in 1998 with a BA in economics. He was
awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in September 2003.
