Alexander M. Grant

ALEXANDER M. GRANT JR. is a Portfolio Manager of The Guardian
Tax-Exempt Fund and The Guardian Cash Management Fund. He has 15
years of investment industry experience. Mr. Grant joined the
firm in 1985 as Assistant Portfolio Manager and began managing
The Guardian Tax-Exempt Fund in 1993. He earned a BA degree from
the State University of New York at Buffalo.
