Akio Sakamoto

AKIO SAKAMOTO, Chairman, President and CEO, founded IPLocks in 2002,
bringing with him over 30 years of technology-related business
management experience with global companies. With over 20 years of
senior management experience with enterprise software companies like
NEC, HolonTech and Auraline, Mr. Sakamoto has extensive expertise in
operations, sales, marketing, business development and product
development. Mr. Sakamoto began his professional career with NEC
Corporation where he was successful in creating, managing and growing
several divisions within the company. During his tenure, Mr. Sakamoto
developed several new business units that produced over 100 million
dollars of revenue. In 1987, Mr. Sakamoto relocated to the U.S. to
establish the General Manager position at the Network Division of NEC
America. In this capacity, he led all US business activities in addition
to worldwide R&D and sales programs for the company. Prior to
establishing IPLocks, Mr. Sakamoto was the CEO at Auraline, Inc., and
CEO/Founder at HolonTech Corporation. Mr. Sakamoto holds over 35
patents.
