Ken Olisa – Interregnum Plc (itr.l)

KEN OLISA is the Founder and Managing Director of Interregnum Plc. Mr Olisa's career began with IBM, which he joined after graduating from Cambridge University. At IBM he held various posts in systems engineering, sales and marketing, before joining Wang Laboratories in 1981. Following a period as Marketing Director for Europe, Vice President of US Marketing and then Worldwide Marketing, Mr Olisa was appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Wang Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Here he was responsible for the sales, marketing, support, service and administration activities within 11 Wang subsidiaries and 92 distributors. His achievements included the reversal of the half billion-dollar loss-making European business through a major restructuring. Ken founded Interregnum in 1992. His current appointments include Chairman of Metapraxis Ltd, Catalyst Solutions Ltd, and CallCentric Ltd , and in addition to serving on the boards of several to the private IT companies, he serves on the Board of publicly quoted Open Text Corporation of Canada and Link Software in Brussels. He is also a Freeman of the City of London; Postal Services Commissioner; a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists; Chairman of Thames Reach, a charity working to shelter and resettle the homeless in London; and a Governor of the Peabody Trust.
