BILL BLAIR is Director of Pharmaceutical Research at Nomura International,
where his stock coverage includes major UK and European pharmaceutical
stocks, and mid and small cap biotech stocks. He has previously been employed
as director and head of pharmaceutical teams at both Robert Fleming
Securities and Greig Middleton & Co. Before that, he worked in sales, sales
training and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr Blair has been
rated number one in the Reuters survey of small UK pharmaceutical company
research. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and an MSc in Business
Administration. He is married, with three boys aged 11, six and three, and
his interests include most sports, particularly football and athletics. He
has been Scottish National Middle Distance coach. Profile
