CECIL A. GODMAN has been the Executive Vice President and Chief
Investment Officer of Gintel Asset Management, Inc. since November 1991.
He joined the staff of Gintel Asset Management in July 1985 as a
security analyst. He also serves as a director of Gintel Asset
Management, Inc. and is a Partner of Gintel & Company. Prior to joining
the Gintel Organization, Mr. Godman was a security analyst with First
Tennessee Investment Management, Inc., a $1.8 billion asset management
subsidiary of First Tennessee Bank. His professional career began with
First Tennessee Bank in 1982 as a commercial lender. Mr. Godman has been
interviewed by several publications including Barron's, Business Week,
Forbes, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Transcript and was a
featured speaker at Donoghue's Mutual Fund Superstars conference. He
received a B.A. in Business and Economics from Rhodes College. He is a
member of the Memphis Society of Security Analysts and the Association
for Investment and Research. He is married and has a daughter. Profile
