LAURALEE E. MARTIN is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Heller Financial, Inc. and she reports directly to the
Chairman. Ms. Martin's previous position at Heller Financial was Senior
Group President in which she was responsible for the Heller Real Estate
Group, the Vendor Finance Division, First Capital Corporation (a SBA
lender), and the Commercial Equipment Finance Division. Prior to that
she was President of the Heller Real Estate Group, responsible for Field
Operations, Credit, Portfolio and Asset Management, and Business
Planning and Development. Prior to joining Heller, she held various
senior management positions at General Electric Credit Corporation,
including President of General Electric Mortgage, and Manager of
Construction Lending Operation. She serves on the Board of Directors for
Gables Residential Trust, Clarity Capital Corp., and LifeSource and is a
member of the Chicago Network. She is also on the Board of Advisors at
Oregon State University, College of Science. She previously was a member
of the Mortgage Bankers' Association, the Urban Land Institute, Multi-
Family Housing Council, and the Chicago Finance Exchange. Ms. Martin
received her MBA from the University of Connecticut and her BA from
Oregon State University. She is married with two children. Profile
