JIM ROSE joined QXL.com as the Chief Executive Officer in April 1999.
Jim was formally CEO at United Information Group (UIG), a wholly owned
subsidiary of United News and Media, where he was responsible for
driving the company's global expansion and business development. Prior
to UIG, Jim's experience includes four years with Deloitte Touche as a
management consultant and over six years with Dun&Bradstreet/ ACNielsen,
as a European Board Member and Managing Director in the UK, Ireland and
South Africa. Jim was also CEO of Blackwell Information Services, a
global provider of academic and professional information, and was
responsible for all Internet development including the launch of the
Blackwell On-Line Bookshop. Jim is an American national, and holds a
Masters Degree from Kellogg School of Management from Northwestern
