RICHARD MEDLOCK is the Chief Financial Officer of NDS Group Plc. He is
a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, qualifying with
Arthur Andersen & Co in London. Graduating from St John's College,
Cambridge, he has been working in the Information Technology industry
for the last twelve years, specialising in fast-growing Management
Buyouts/Buy-ins and Venture Capital-backed investments. In April 1994,
he joined the management team of Creative Group Holdings Ltd in the
buyout of the business from Swiss Re, becoming Finance Director.
Creative was sold to Policy Management Systems, Corporation (PMSC) on
31st of December 1994 and Rick became Chief Financial Officer for PMS
Europe. Both Creative and PMSC develop and implement complex software
for insurance companies. Prior to Creative, he was Finance Director of
Technology Plc, another MBO which was sold to ICL in June 1992. He was
also previously Finance Director/ Controller of two software houses and
Chief Executive Officer of an IT Training Company in Boston, USA which
was subsequently acquired by Cap Gemini. Profile
