RICHARD WHEATLY started his business career in marketing at Unilever. He then spent time at Johnson & Johnson and at the advertising agencies, Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Ericson. He spent the longest period of his career at Leo Burnett Advertising where he was Chief Executive and latterly Chairman for ten years. He worked on many famous advertising campaigns in his time in advertising but cites the celebrated Perrier "eau" campaign as his best! In 1995, after leading one of the bids for the new National Lottery, he joined jazzfm as its Chief Executive.
