RAYMOND MARCY is Chairman, President and CEO of Interim Services Inc., one of the world's leading providers of flexible staffing and human resources consulting, with more than 1,000 offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia. He joined the company in 1989 as President, adding Chief Executive responsibilities in 1991 and Chairman duties in 1997. Since 1989, Interim has seen record growth in company-wide sales, from $593.9 million to $4 billion in 1999. A few highlights of the company's growth under Marcy's direction include: Since the IPO in 1994, Interim has nearly tripled its network of offices from 373 more than 1,000 locations in 12 countries around the world; at the IPO, Interim stock traded at $10 a share and recently, the stock reached $20 ' double its value; the market capitalization at the time of the company's IPO was $200 million, and today, that value has grown to over $1.4 billion ' a six-fold increase in six years; company-wide sales have experienced record growth, from $593.9 million in 1989 to $2.1 billion in 1998; and Interim has grown, on average, 23% each year over the past decade, and is on track to double its size every four years. Mr. Marcy has more than 25 years' experience in the staffing industry. He began his career in the industry in 1972 as a client service representative with Manpower, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio. He soon joined Manpower's management team and later headed its corporate sales center and national accounts department. Mr. Marcy served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Adia Services, Inc., and while retaining the position, was named President and Chief Executive officer of NurseFinders, Inc., the health care subsidiary.
