PETER W. BELL, co-founder, President and CEO of Storage Networks, Inc.,
is a 14-year veteran of the storage business. He joined EMC Corporation
in 1986 when EMC was a $66 million company and was quickly recognized
for his sales and leadership skills. During his tenure at EMC, Peter
handled key management positions in marketing, operations and sales. He
was responsible for opening up several new businesses and markets for
EMC while the company grew into the leading supplier of enterprise
storage systems. In 1992, he was called upon to manage EMC's ISO 9001
certification process, and in 1994 he began and led EMC's Open Systems
Business for North America before co-founding Storage Networks, Inc. in
August 1998. Mr. Bell is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston College
and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Profile
