ROBERT W. HOWE is the Co-founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer
of Atlantic Data Services (ADS), a solution-oriented financial services
consulting firm. In his current role, Mr. Howe is responsible for
overall management, strategic planning and financial forecasting for
ADS. Assisting financial institutions manage change through industry
insight and project management discipline, ADS' client list includes
Fleet Financial Group, First Security Information Technology, Inc.,
ABN/AMRO and Nation's Bank. Prior to establishing ADS, Mr. Howe honed
his extensive financial and technical expertise at the Savings
Management Computer Corporation (SMCC, now part of EDS). In 1980, Mr.
Howe and SMCC co-worker William H. Gallagher responded to a growing
trend toward disaggregation in the financial services industry by
founding ADS. Mr. Howe is currently a Boston College President's Round
Table Executive Committee member, a Director of the Darling Consulting
Group, and a member of the Board of Trustees at Boston College High
School. He is a former United States Marine Corps Officer who, during
service in Vietnam, received a number of personal decorations including
the Bronze Star medal. Mr. Howe holds a Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration from Boston College and a Banking degree from the
Graduate School of Savings Banking at Brown University. Profile
