MANUEL J. GLYNIAS has served as the President of NetGenics since its
inception and is the Chief Executive Officer of NetGenics. Mr. Glynias
has been involved in both commercial and research applications of
bioinformatics software for the last 15 years. In 1986, Mr. Glynias
founded a company to market MacGene, one of the first sequence analysis
programs. Subsequently, he developed GeneWorks, a program marketed, and
later acquired, by Intelligenetics. Mr. Glynias developed Primer
Express, a program for designing oligonucleotide primers for the
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Mr. Glynias received his AB. in Biology
