VINCENT A. FORLENZA is Senior Vice President ' Technology,
Strategy and Development of Becton, Dickinson and Company,
headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. He is also an
Executive Officer of the company and a member of the corporate
leadership team. Mr. Forlenza joined BD in 1980 as a product
manager and spent the next several years in various positions of
increasing responsibility in the United States and Europe,
including several years as President of a US-based business
focused on diagnostic systems. Most recently he was President of
Becton Dickinson Microbiology Systems in Sparks, Maryland. He
assumed his present responsibilities in October 1998. Mr.
Forlenza is involved in various professional and community
associations, including the University of Maryland Baltimore
County Engineering from Lehigh University and his MBA from
Wharton Graduate School, University of Pennsylvania. Profile
