Jeff Taylor – Monster.com (tmpw)

JEFF TAYLOR is CEO of Monster. Com (www.monster.com), the leading, global online network for careers, connecting the most progressive companies with the most qualified career-minded individuals. Monster.com is committed to leading the market by offering innovative technology and superior services that give consumers and businesses more control over the recruiting process. Monster.com was formed in January 1999 when The Monster Board' and Online Career Center joined forces to capture the online career marketspace. Mr. Taylor, who founded The Monster Board in 1994, also is Chief Executive Officer of TMP Interactive, a unit of TMP Worldwide, the online recruitment leader and one of the world's largest recruitment advertising agency networks, with a rapidly growing presence in the search and selection industry. TMP Worldwide is also the world's largest yellow page advertising agency and a provider of direct marketing services. He is responsible for the growth and direction of all TMP Worldwide properties and developments relating to the Internet. Mr. Taylor joined TMP Worldwide in 1995, upon the acquisition of his specialized recruitment advertising agency, Adion, Inc. In an effort to offer Adion's clients a more sophisticated recruiting tool, he created The Monster Board, a careers Web site that soon catapulted to the number-one position in the online careers space. Mr. Taylor is a frequent speaker at technology, advertising and recruitment conferences. He has spoken at events hosted by such noted organizations as Forrester Research, Giga Information Group, The Kelsey Group and The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Mr. Taylor serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Junior Achievement and Computer.com.
