SAID S. ARRATA, P. Eng., serves as the President and Chief Executive
Officer of Centurion Energy, and is a member of the Board of Directors
of the corporation. During more than 30 years of experience in the oil
and gas industry, Mr. Arrata has held management positions with major
oil companies in Canada and overseas. Mr. Arrata was co-founder and
chief executive officer of a major contracting engineering firm
operating in Canada and internationally for nearly two decades. He
serves on two other corporate directorates, and is an active member of
several professional engineering and industry associations. Mr. Arrata
is currently participating on the Advisory Board of the 16th World
Petroleum Congress that will convene in Calgary in early June 2000. Profile
