SAMIR ARORA is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, NetObjects, Inc.
Mr. Arora is an information technology industry veteran with 15 years
of experience in information design, architecture, technology and
management. A frequent speaker, Mr. Arora has provided keynote addresses
at prestigious industry events including InternetWorld and newMedia. Mr.
Arora has also been recognized as the 1997 Entrepreneur of the Year for
IIA and received a 1998 Web Innovator Award from CNET's Builder.Com. Mr.
Arora is the architect of SOLO (Structure of Linked Objects), the
object-oriented software foundation on which NetObjects' products are
based. During his career, Mr. Arora has been involved with several
category-defining software products including HyperCard, 4D, and the Rae
Assist family of applications. Prior to founding NetObjects, Mr. Arora
was the founder and CEO of Rae Technology, a provider of software
applications recognized for their superior navigation capabilities and
intuitive interface design. Prior to Rae Technology, Mr. Arora worked at
Apple Computer, where he held key management positions in business
marketing, business applications, application tools, and development
tools. In addition, while at Apple, Mr. Arora worked in technology
directions for emerging information, media, and communication in the
Office of the Chairman. Mr. Arora attended INSEAD in France, holds a
diploma in sales and marketing from the London Business School, and
studied electrical and electronic engineering at BITS, India. Mr.
Arora's recreational interests include the arts, scuba diving, skiing,

TWST: Can you give us kind of a brief overview and a little of thehistory of NetObjects just to kind of set the stage for the readers?
Mr. Arora: NetObjects was founded in November of 1995.
