Thomas Noonan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Internet
Security Systems, Inc. (ISS), the pioneer and leading provider of
adaptive network security delivering enterprise-wide information
protection solutions. ISS' award-winning SAFEsuite family of products
manages security risks and enhances end user confidence in intranet,
extranet and electronic commerce environments. As President, Mr. Noonan
is responsible for the overall strategic direction and growth of the
company. He has led the Atlanta-based company from a small start-up to
the fastest growing network security company in the world. He has over
fifteen years of valuable experience in the information technology
industry. His career has spanned many critical areas of business
management including business strategy development and sales operations.
Prior to joining ISS, Mr. Noonan held a number of high level sales and
marketing positions while at Dun and Bradstreet Software including Vice
President, Worldwide Operations Marketing, Host Systems Program
Director, National Sales Manager and Factory Systems National Sales. He
holds a mechanical engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of
Technology and a business degree from Harvard University. Mr. Noonan is
also a member of the National Academy of Engineering, Technology
Executive Roundtable and an active participant in numerous professional
societies and local technology and software organizations. Profile
