SHANE STERLING, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bellacure, Inc., has 14
years of experience leading product development and manufacturing teams for
consumer and medical device manufacturers. After receiving a BS in Mechanical
Engineering from Seattle University, Mr. Sterling led the development effort for
the alpine ski division for the K2 Corporation. After leaving K2, Mr. Sterling
went on to receive his Master of Science degree in Biomechanics from the
University of Washington. While working towards his Master's degree, Mr.
Sterling developed a patented orthopedic knee brace for Seattle Orthopedic
Group, Inc. After graduation, he joined Generation II USA, Inc., the worldwide
leader in osteoarthritis knee bracing, where he led the R&D and manufacturing
team as the Director of Engineering. During his tenure at Generation II, Mr.
Sterling built a cohesive design and engineering team from the ground up that
worked with the already strong group of clinical researchers affiliated with
Generation II. Together, Mr. Sterling's team designed, developed and brought to
market three new innovative and patented products that treat knee arthritis and
