PANKAJ MANGLIK is President and CEO of Proxim Wireless Corporation. Prior to
Proxim, he was co-Founder and CEO of Aruba Networks, a worldwide leader in
WLANs. Aruba Networks created a new market segment called WLAN Switching. At
Aruba, Mr. Manglik raised two rounds of funding, built out the entire team
including a worldwide sales force and took the company from inception to early
revenues. Previously, Mr. Manglik held senior management positions at Alteon
WebSystems, which went public and was acquired by Nortel Networks. As Director
of Product Management, he defined a new market segment called Web Switching.
Prior to that, he directed the marketing of Cisco's StrataCom IGX multi-service
switching platform, increasing revenues to $400 million per year. Previously,
Mr. Manglik ran Intel's network engineering and design organization, being
promoted three times in four years. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School of
Business, in addition to Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electronics
Engineering and Computer Science. Profile
