Keith Keogh – California Culinary Academy (cook)

KEITH KEOGH, President and Chief Executive Officer of the California Culinary Academy Inc., came to San Francisco in June of 1995 after a 24- year career with Walt Disney World Company. He is responsible for the educational programs and strategic direction of California Culinary Academy, Inc., the largest publicly traded culinary training institution in the U.S. A recipient of the prestigious World Medal from the World Association of Cooks Societies, Mr. Keogh was elected as the first American President to that association and served from 1992-1996; presently, he serves as the; World Ambassador to the 55 countries and one-and-one-half million members. Mr. Keogh is a past president of the American Culinary Federation, and past Manager of Culinary Team USA (1992 and 1996), who under his Management garnered three world championships, including two world cups. He personally holds 15 international gold medals, 10 national gold medallions, is twice Florida Governors cup winner in seafood for Florida, and in 1985, was the National Seafood Superbowl winner.
