DONALD K. BARBIERI is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cavanaughs Hospitality Corporation. Mr. Barbieri joined the Company in 1969, growing the Company from 5 employees to 2,500 and diversifying the Company's real estate, hospitality and entertainment divisions in five Northwest states. Mr. Barbieri was educated at the University of Washington Graduate School of Urban Planning. He received the Building Owners and Managers Institute Designation of Real Property Administrator and served as past president of the Spokane Building Owners and Managers Association. His expertise in the hospitality industry, while demonstrated by the development and management of the Northwest-based Cavanaughs hotel chain, is supplemented by past experience as president of the Spokane Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, as the former co- chairman of the Washington State Governors Tourism Council and as past president of the Inland Northwest Tourism Coalition of the states of Washington, Idaho, Montana and the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.
