MICHAEL SAYLOR has received numerous awards and honors since founding
MicroStrategy. He was named KPMG High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year in
1996 and the Ernst & Young Software Entrepreneur of the Year Award in
1997. In 1998, he was recognized by The Red Herring Magazine as one of
the Top 10 Entrepreneurs of 1998. These awards acknowledge his
exceptional leadership and key role in the advancement of decision
support and business intelligence technology. He has been featured by
many of today's leading business and computer publications including
Fortune, Forbes, The Washington Post, PC Week, InformationWeek, and
Database Programming & Design, in addition to being profiled on the NBC
Nightly News and CNBC's Squawk Box. Mr. Saylor is a frequent keynote
speaker at industry gatherings, has been a business school guest
lecturer at both MIT and Stanford University, and serves on the Board of
