MICHAEL PASCOE, President and CEO, joined PairGain Technologies in
January 1999 and is also a member of the Board of Directors. With more
than 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Pascoe came to PairGain from
Newbridge Networks where his most recent position was President,
Newbridge Networks US and Executive Vice President, North and South
America. During his 12-year tenure at Newbridge Networks, Mr. Pascoe was
instrumental in building the company from a startup to a $1.2 billion
network systems manufacturer. Mr. Pascoe has also held senior sales,
marketing and technical management positions at Rockwell Telcom, MiTel
and Nortel/Bell Northern Research. He holds a BSEE degree from the
