Waldemar Kita – Corneal Laboratories (cola.pa)

WALDEMAR KITA is Founder, President and CEO of Groupe Corneal Laboratories, Paris. Receiving a degree in optics, Mr. Kita began his career in 1975 as a department manager (contact lenses) and subsequently responsible for the set-up of branch offices in France, Storz-Coburn S.A.. In 1982, he became regional manager of Luneau S.A. eventually becoming president. Mr. Kita was awarded in 1994 La Palme d'Or du Trophee Europeen (French Assn. Of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (PME);in 1995, he was awarded Le Grand Prix de l'Enterprise by the French magazine 'L'Enterprise', as well as Le Prix de l'International during the 'Avenir Export' Show (an annual international meeting); and in 1997, he was awarded Le Trophee de la Decennie by the French magazine 'L 'Expression.'
