Daniel M. DuPree is a native of Coral Gables, Florida and graduate of
the University of Florida. In 1984, he founded New Market Development
Company, Ltd. and developed nearly 6 million square feet of retail space
across the eastern United States before selling that company to Cousins
Properties Incorporated in 1992. From 1992 until 1995, Mr. Dupree
served as President of the Retail Division of Cousins, during which time
an additional 2 million square feet of retail space was developed. In
1995, DuPree was elected President and Chief Operating Officer of the
parent company, Cousins Properties Incorporated. Mr. Dupree is a member
of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land
Institute Southeastern Steering Committee, the Advisory Council of the
University of Florida College of Business Administration, the Board of
Directors for the Atlanta Community Food Bank and The Lovett School. In
addition, heserves on the Georgia and Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce
