THOMAS D. O'MALLEY has been Chairman and CEO of Tosco Corporation since
1990. He joined the company after a 22 year career at Salomon Brothers,
Inc. and Phillip Brothers, Inc., where he was Vice Chairman of Salomon
Brothers Inc., and CEO of a wholly owned division, Philbro Energy, Inc.
Mr. O'Malley serves on the Board of the National Petroleum Council and
is a member of the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Manhattan
College. He is a former Trustee of Boston College, the Riverview School
Brunswick and St. Joseph's Hospital. He has received many industry and
charitable honors in the last year including the Humanitarian Award from
the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He lives with his wife
of 34 years in Greenwich, CT. The O'Malley's have four children. Profile
