SHEKHAR BASU is a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston where he
follows the biotechnology stocks including smaller-cap, earlier-stage
companies. Previously, he was associated with Punk Ziegel. His
prebanking background includes Frigitronics, a division of Cooper
Surgical, Pfizer, Proctor & Gamble, SmithKline Beecham, and Zeneca
Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Basu received his Bachelor's degree in applied
biotechnology at Brunel University and his MBA from the University of
Aston, both located in the UK. GENGHIS LLOYD-HARRIS is an Analyst at
Credit Suisse First Boston in London where he covers the European
pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining equity research, he was
associated with CFBS's Health Care Group in the investment banking
division. Previously, Mr. Lloyd-Harris was a practicing pediatrician in

JEFFREY SWARZ is a Director in the Equity Research Department at Credit
Suisse First Boston specializing in biotechnology. Previously, he was
associated with Goldman Sachs. Mr. Swatz received his Bachelor's degree
in biological sciences from the University of California at Irvine and
his Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Rochester. After
completing his Ph.D., he held a post-doctoral fellowship in neurology at
the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he also taught histology and
cell biology and was a science advisor to the Senate Subcommittee on
Science, Technology, and Space. After leaving Johns Hopkins, Mr. Swarz
was a research associate at the National Institute of Health in the
