JUDY RICE is President of Prudential Investments, the mutual fund and
managed accounts business within the Investment Division of Prudential
Financial, Inc. Prudential Investments' professionally-managed wrap-fee
platforms, mutual funds, closed-end funds and retail product development
are some of the solutions offered to both affiliated and unaffiliated
distributors to help them build, manage, and sustain client
relationships. Prior to leading Prudential Investments, Ms. Rice was
Executive Vice President for Prudential Investments, Director of Program
Management from 1999 to 2002. She was responsible for the development
and management of all Prudential Investments' programs and products,
including separately managed accounts, mutual funds, annuities, non-
proprietary vendor relationships and Strategic Investment Research. In
addition, she had oversight of Third Party Distribution, a unit launched
in 1998 to provide third party financial professionals, independent
planners and banks with easy access to Prudential's lineup of products,
services, and investment management capabilities. Prior to joining
Prudential Investments, Ms. Rice was with Prudential Securities from
1992, where she built a competitive fee-based product line and winning
organization. She was responsible for all aspects of the wrap fee
programs, including Consultant Wrap, Mutual Fund Wrap, and FA Directed
Programs. In addition, she was responsible for the Cash Management
Account, Retirement Services group, as well as Financial Planning. Ms.
Rice joined Prudential with 17 years of experience from Shearson Lehman
Advisors, where she held various positions to Managing Director, Chief
Operating Officer. She was responsible for product management and
development of the affiliated investment advisory products. As well as
holding positions of Manager of Administration and Portfolio Manager,
she has in-depth experience in the investment management wrap fee
business and the consultative process. She serves on the Board of
