William F. Bahl – Bahl & Gaynor Inc

WILLIAM F. BAHL is co-founder and owner of Bahl & Gaynor, Inc. Prior to forming Bahl & Gaynor, Mr. Bahl was Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Northern Trust Company in Chicago. His responsibilities included the establishment of investment policy, strategy, and risk control procedures for over $38 billion under management. In addition to the above, Mr. Bahl directly managed a $200 million domestic equity common fund. Prior to joining Northern Trust in 1985, Mr. Bahl was Vice President and Chief Investment officer for The Fifth Third bank in Cincinnati; responsible for $2.5 billion under management. His responsibilities also included the management of large performance oriented eleemosynary, pension, and personal relationships. He joined Fifth Third in 1978. From 1974 to 1978, Mr. Bahl was an Investment Officer for the Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh responsible for the management of large family and endowment relationships. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration (1972) 'With High Honors', University of Florida; and Masters of Business Administration (1973) 'With Distinction', University of Michigan. Mr. Bahl is also a Chartered Financial Analyst with the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts and a Chartered Investment Counselor (1991).
