VIJAY BASANI is CEO and co-Founder of eiQnetworks, Inc. Mr. Basani is a
14-year veteran of the technology and finance industries, having held
numerous senior executive positions in both industries. He is also the
Founder of AppIQ, Inc., an application storage resource management
provider. Prior to founding AppIQ, as the Chief Strategy Officer at
Fortune 100 Network Appliance, he was responsible for global data
management product strategy, business development and the long-term
strategic vision for the company. Prior to that, he was the Founder,
President and CEO of WebManage Technologies, Inc., and was responsible
for growing the company to 85 people with two locations prior to the $75
million merger with Network Appliance. In addition to Mr. Basani's
experience in technology, he has also held senior executive positions in
the financial industry at Spencer Trask Securities where he served as
the Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and also as a Vice
President at Josephthal Lyon & Ross, Inc. He is the co-owner of five
patents for the architecture and design of the WebManage Content
Delivery system, Adaptive Policy Engine and SLA Management. Mr. Basani
holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and
instrumentation, and an MBA and post MBA from Baruch College in New
