VIVIENNE HSU is a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for
Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM). She is part of the senior
equity management team that oversees the family of Schwab Funds that tap
into Schwab's proprietary stock research methodology ' Schwab Equity
Ratings. She joined CSIM from American Century Investment in Mountain
View, California, where she was Vice President, Portfolio Manager and
Senior Quantitative Analyst. While at American Century, she served as
co-Manager of the Income and Growth Fund, the Equity Growth Fund and the
Small Company Fund, totaling more than $10 billion under management.
Prior to her work with American Century, she served as a consultant at
Barra, a financial risk management solutions provider. She holds an MBA
degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California,
Berkeley. She also holds the Charter Financial Analyst designation. Profile
LARRY MANO is a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Charles
Schwab Investment Management. He joined the firm in 1998 as Portfolio
Manager, Equity Index Group. His responsibilities include overseeing
management of the various Schwab Equity Index Funds and day-to-day
management of Schwab's actively managed equity funds. Prior to joining
Charles Schwab Investment Management, Mr. Mano was the Vice President
and Principal at Wilshire Associates, Inc., in the Institutional
Services Group. There he directed product development and client
servicing of analytical tools to aid in the management of structured
equity and equity indexed portfolios. He worked with large
institutional organizations, investment management firms and public
funds. Mr. Mano has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration with an emphasis on Investments and Finance from
