John F. Keane – Keane Inc (kea)

JOHN F. KEANE is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Keane, Inc., which he founded in 1965. Mr. Keane is Chairman of the Board of Governors of the New England Aquarium, past Chairman of the Information Technology Association of America, and a trustee of the Massachusetts Computer Software Council. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Keane worked for IBM and was a consultant for Arthur D. Little. He is a graduate of Harvard University, and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Mr. Keane is an avid sportsman whose hobbies include tennis, skiing and sailing. He is a three-time national sailing champion of the International 210 Class. He has three children and all three are graduates of Harvard. His two sons, Brian and John, Jr. joined the company 10 years ago. Mr. Keane resides in Cohasset and Boston, Massachusetts. Profile
