DAVID MANGUM is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
CheckFree Corporation. In this role, Mr. Mangum is responsible for all
financial operations of the company, including accounting, tax,
treasury, finance and investor relations. Additionally, he is
responsible for CheckFree's corporate information technology and
facilities functions, as well as the company's Six Sigma quality
initiatives. Mr. Mangum joined CheckFree in September 1999 as Senior
Vice President of Finance and Accounting after serving as Vice President
of Finance and Administration for the Managed Systems Division of
Sterling Commerce, Inc. Prior to his work at Sterling Commerce, he was
Director of Finance at XcelleNet, Inc., and held various financial
management positions at The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation (D&B), most
recently as Director of Finance at D&B Software. Profile
