MATTHEW MOOG is President and Chief Executive Officer of CoolSavings,
Inc., a leading provider of interactive marketing services. As the
company's third employee, Mr. Moog joined CoolSavings in October 1996 as
Vice President of Sales. Mr. Moog was later promoted to Executive Vice
President of Sales and Marketing and to his current role as President
and CEO in August 2001. Under his leadership, the company has grown to
employ a staff of 137 with 2003 annual revenues of $32.4 million. The
company's five-year revenue growth has earned it a ranking in Deloitte &
Touche's 2003 'Fast 500' and 2004 Chicagoland Technology Fast 50 list of
the fastest growing companies. Mr. Moog was also named a finalist in
Ernst & Young's 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year award for Chicago. Prior
to joining CoolSavings, Mr. Moog worked for Microsoft Corporation in
various capacities from June 1992 to September 1996. He holds a BA in
Political Science from the George Washington University. Mr. Moog has
been cited as an industry expert in The Wall Street Journal, Chicago
Tribune, DM News, Supermarket News and a variety of other national and
regional publications. He has also appeared on Fox News, CNN, WGN and
WTTW to discuss the potential and future of marketing on the Internet. Profile
