EMILY GOTTSCHALK is President and Chief Executive Officer of TGG. Ms.
Gottschalk is an accomplished manager with a proven track record;
successfully developing new business opportunities and growing existing
businesses through strategic planning, customer growth and targeted
marketing programs. Prior to forming The Garr Group in 1998, Ms.
Gottschalk was the Director of New Business Development/Youth Marketing
for Marketsource Corporation with responsibility for developing and
implementing programs for the youth, teen and college division. During
her Marketsource tenure, she increased the teen business by 100% over a
one-year period and successfully brought in new customers such as
McDonald's, Educational Testing Services and ARAMARK. Her management of
a $35 million business targeted to college and high school students
delivered profit-exceeding plan by over 20%. As Director of Marketing
for Zany Brainy, one of America's fastest growing specialty retail
stores for children, Ms. Gottschalk designed and implemented
comprehensive, educational retail marketing programs targeted to
children 12 and under and their parents and successfully opened 33
stores in a two-year period while managing a multi-city advertising PR
and event program. Her database marketing experience was instrumental in
increasing a mailing list from 200,000 names to over 1 million active
names in a two-year period. Ms. Gottschalk worked extensively with
senior level executives while managing the sales and marketing efforts
of several high volume downtown Four Seasons Hotels. Her experience
included management of large sales forces, multi-million dollar ad
campaigns and multi-city PR programs. Included in her experience is the
superior opening and performance of the Chicago and Philadelphia Four
Seasons Hotels. Ms. Gottschalk holds a BS in Hotel Administration from
