RICHARD S. BARFUS is Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
of Mindbox. Mr. Barfus has more than 30 years of experience in the
computer industry. He was a founding Director of Brightware and the
former Executive Vice President responsible for Brightware's Solutions
Division, which formed the foundation of MindBox Barfus was Senior Vice
President of the Front Office Solutions Division at Inference
Corporation, which was focused on delivering intelligent software
solutions for decision-intensive, customer facing functions. Prior to
his work at Inference, Mr. Barfus was the National Director of
Commercial Consulting at Oracle Corporation. He has also held senior
management positions with Bedford & Associates (a subsidiary of British
Airways), On-Line Business Systems, Inc., General Electric Information
Services Company, and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He holds an A.B. in
