CHRISTOPHER GREEN – NORTHUMBRIAN WATER GROUP PLC (NWG)

CHRISTOPHER GREEN is Finance Director, Northumbrian Water Group plc. Mr. Green qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Young Young) and joined Northumbrian Water in 1990, shortly after privatization, helping to diversify the group's activities including the development of a substantial waste management subsidiary over a five year period from 1992. He was appointed Finance Director in 1997, overseeing the merger of NWL and Essex and Suffolk Water plc in 2000 and the raising of over 700 million through debt capital markets to fund their capital expenditure programme. Mr. Green became Finance Director of Northumbrian Water Group plc on 23 May 2003, the date that the company was re- admitted to the London Stock Exchange, firstly on AIM and then as a FTSE 250 company on 23 September 2003.
