JOHN FORELLI – INDEPENDENCE INVESTEMENT LLC

JOHN C. FORELLI, CFA, is Principal, Senior Vice President and co- Director of Large Cap Core Strategies at Independence Investment LLC. Mr. Forelli oversees all aspects of investment management for the firm's institutional and mutual fund large cap core US equity portfolios. He started his career at Independence in 1990 as a fundamental research analyst covering companies in the healthcare and chemical industries. He moved into portfolio management and began managing diversified large cap core portfolios in 1997. He was named co-Director for Large Cap Core strategies in 2003. Given his investment experience and market knowledge, Mr. Forelli has frequently provided market commentary and perspective on CNBC, CNNfn, CBS MarketWatch, and Bloomberg TV, as well as being featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, and the Financial Times, among other daily and weekly publications. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Forelli worked in the corporate finance department of Prudential Securities, assisting companies in raising capital through public offerings and private placements and advising companies on mergers and acquisitions. He has a BA from Dartmouth College where he graduated cum laude, and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth, where he was elected an Edward Tuck Scholar with Distinction.
