RICHARD LANG is Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of Burst.com. A
gifted businessman with an aptitude for electronics, Mr. Lang co-founded
Explore Technology, the company that would eventually evolve into
Burst.com, in 1988. Mr. Lang is the innovator behind Faster-Than-Real-
Time_ video delivery and is the inventor of record for the bulk of the
company's international patent portfolio covering bursting, video
delivery scheduling and rapid casting. Mr. Lang currently serves as
Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of Burst.com and it is his
technology vision that is at the heart of the company. Before Burst.com,
he was the co-Inventor of VCR-2, the world's first dual-deck
videocassette recorder and co-Founder and CEO of Go-Video in 1983. Go-
