Robert Grossman – Emons Transportation Group Inc (emon)

ROBERT GROSSMAN is Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Emons Transportation Group, Inc. Mr. Grossman was appointed as Vice President of Emons in 1971. In 1975, he became President and in 1979 was elected as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to 1971, he had worked for several financial services companies, including four years as a stockbroker. Mr. Grossman's current business related activities include: board member of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association; Executive Committee member of the Legislative Policy Committee of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association; member of the Pennsylvania Rail Freight Advisory Committee; member of the Keystone State Railroad Association; York (Pennsylvania) Area Metropolitan Planning Organization advisory member and board member of Better York, Inc. Emons Transportation Group, Inc. is a rail freight transportation and distribution services company serving the Mid- Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States and Qu_bec, Canada, through its Pennsylvania and New England/Qu_bec operations. Emons currently owns five short-line railroads, operates rail/truck transfer facilities and a rail intermodal terminal, and provides its customers with warehousing and logistics services for the movement and storage of their freight.
