Cyrus Tsui – Lattice Semiconductor (lscc)

CYRUS TSUI is currently President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Lattice Semiconductor Corporation, a leading manufacturer of programmable logic devices based in Hillsboro, Oregon. Mr. Tsui joined Lattic Semiconductor in September 1988. He has been instrumental in directing the Company's rapid and continuous growth. During Mr. Tsui's tenure annual revenue has increased ten-fold to over $200 million. Annual net income has grown twenty five times to $45 million and total employment has increased five-fold to its current level of nearly 600. Mr. Tsui also executed the Company's initial public stock offering in 1989. Since that time total equity market capitalization has grown from $30 million to the current level of over one billion dollars. Mr. Tsui was born in Shanghai, China in 1945. He immigrated to the United States in 1964 and subsequently established citizenship. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Stanford University. Mr. Tsui has spent has entire professional career in the semiconductor industry, focusing primarily on field programmable technologies and products. He was a leading force behind the development and commercialization of the programmable logic device, now a two billion dollar market.
