DECLAN FRENCH is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Thinkpath Inc.
Drawing on over three decades of experience in the fields of
recruitment, technology and executive management, Mr. French continues
to lead Thinkpath. Since founding the company in 1994 as IT Staffing
Ltd., he quickly built sales to US$44 million for 1999. He also built
the company from one location to 18 offices across North America. The
last two years has been spent in a major turnaround and restructuring
operation. His achievements with Thinkpath follow on the heels of his
last venture, TEC Partners Ltd. This successful placement and
contracting agency was founded by Mr. French in the late 1980s and
thrived under his focused leadership and business acumen. The company
specialized in finding and placing IT specialists in contract and
permanent positions. Prior to TEC Partners, he was founder and CEO of
Toronto Executive Consultants, a top placement agency with a strong
focus on technology positions that served Fortune 500 clients. Mr.
French adeptly built Toronto Executive Consultants from its inception to
sales of $10 million, expanding the operation to branch offices across
Canada. Concurrently, in 1981 he began a two-year term as CEO of Euro
Terminals Corp., an Irish-based manufacturer of emulator terminals,
further adding to his already strong IT background. While leading the
company, he concurrently served as Project Manager, responsible for
firmware development. Living abroad to oversee Euro Terminals'
operations, he also established an extensive European distribution
network, giving him a strong understanding of the international
