D. Craig Young – Metronet (metnf)

D. CRAIG YOUNG was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of MetroNet from February 1998. He was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of Brooks Fiber Properties (now Brooks WorldCom), one of North Americas largest competitive local exchange carriers (CLEC). He brings eighteen years experience as an entrepreneur and senior manager in the telecommunications industry and has been in both the CLEC and incumbent Bell Company businesses, in operations, sales, and financial management. Prior to joining Brooks, he served as Vice President Sales Operations or Ameritech with full P&L responsibility for that company's 200 largest business customers. He also held positions as Vice President Sales and Service for US WEST Communications large business and government services division, Vice President/General Manager of US West Information Systems, and President of Executone Information Systems. Mr. Young holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University. Profile
